British people often get stick for their dental hygiene but this is beginning to change. Taking the lead from the Americans we have began to take on some of their dental hygiene practises like tooth whitening as well as implementing practise branded dental plans.
British peoples gnashers can be bad but most Brits concentrate on the health of their teeth rather than the look. That said, a lot of my acquaintances have fillings and for those that are slightly older this seems to be more so. At some point during the Seventies or possibly the 80’s attitudes to teeth changed as more and more children who had gaps in their teeth or large overbites were given braces.
Even I had to have braces to sort out my overbite and to straighten up my teeth. The process wasn’t that traumatic, I had to have a mould of my teeth made up and then had the brace fitted and cemented onto my teeth. The next step was that the wires were attached and tightened. This was the part that caused me pain as the wires pulled on my teeth. The pain disappeared after a couple of days and I just had to learn to live with them.
The braces sorted out my teeth and I’m glad I had braces for that year or so as I can imagine my teeth could have caused a few problems later in life. Now a days the British people have developed their dental hygiene. Home teeth whitening kits have become popular as people strive for sexy celebrity teeth. It is now more common for dentist surgeries to have their own dental plans. These are surgery branded dental payment plans that allow NHS customers to use private dentists at a reasonable rate.

Paul Frank is a designer that was innovative in his use of materials because he started out by making wallets from off cuts of vinyl and other materials. This created a unique look and feel that stood out and has been maintained by Paul Frank Industries till the present day.

Playtex have got together with burlesque queen Dita Von Teese to release a collection of vintage lingerie. The collection has been designed by Miss Von Teese herself and takes inspiration form 40s and 50s style corsets and hosiery.
The Dita collection consists of 3 different designs called Multi Teese, Spot Teese and Satin Teese. The exciting range of luxury underwear has something for everyone to enjoy. The underwear has many features similar to most waist cinchers and corsets and is comfortable and sexy.
The official release date of the underwear range is September 23rd 2008 and the promotional campaign is already turning heads. Wonderbra and controversy have previously gone hand in hand since their famous Hello Boys ads. The Dita range will be accompanied by a movie called “Science of Sexy” featuring Von Teese herself. Preview videos on the Internet are currently causing a stir showing flashes of Dita’s corset.

Anyone that has to give a talk, seminar or presentation needs some sort of presentation skills training. Speaking in front of a group of people can be daunting no matter who you are. Whether you know the people or even if they are complete strangers, standing up alone and commanding an audience’s attention is hard no matter whom you are. Presentation skills training often takes technique into account. People sometimes read through their notes instead of trying to use them as a guide. This is bad news for those watching as it results in the speaker talking into their chest rather than maintaining eye contact with the audience and making them feel involved and interested. The best way to get over this is to use key points in your slide show or presentation utilities.
If you are having problems looking at your audience the best thing to do is to look directly at the back of the hall over the heads of the audience. The audience will think you are looking directly at them and they will feel engaged and you won’t need to focus directly on one or two people. Practising is another thing that will help you overcome fears of giving a presentation and will help improve your confidence.
