Joining style and substance properly can be a daunting task. Style rules in the fashion world which is the reason some clothes are not very durable. Work wear clothing is the opposite and is usually tends to be mostly functional with very little style.

Street wear fashion labels have a strong sense of style while also being hard wearing. These brands have their roots within the extreme sports scenes. Imagine being a skateboarder and constantly ripping your best jeans and t-shirts as you’re trying to perfect a kick flip or no comply. Most skaters want clothes that are both stylish and durable.

Brands like WeSC and Addict clothing made names for themselves with their innovative fashion styles that can take a large amount of wear and tear. Addict Clothing and accessories have a real work wear feel about them yet they are fashionable and unique. WeSC are from Sweden and produce clothing and WeSC Headphones which are fashionable and tough wearing.

Streetwear clothes tend to feature loops and pockets that are designed for street art accessories. They often incorporate the use of new or different materials in order to create something very unique. British clothing company SupremeBeing are a label that use unique prints as well as styles. Lots of Supreme Being designs are created to make life easier but others are just cool. Paul Frank is a designer that was innovative in his use of materials because he started out by making wallets from off cuts of vinyl and other materials. This created a unique look and feel that stood out and has been maintained by Paul Frank Industries till the present day.

Dita Von Teese And Wonderbra Team Up For Vintage Lingerie Range

Playtex have got together with burlesque queen Dita Von Teese to release a collection of vintage lingerie. The collection has been designed by Miss Von Teese herself and takes inspiration form 40s and 50s style corsets and hosiery.

The Dita collection consists of 3 different designs called Multi Teese, Spot Teese and Satin Teese. The exciting range of luxury underwear has something for everyone to enjoy. The underwear has many features similar to most waist cinchers and corsets and is comfortable and sexy.

The official release date of the underwear range is September 23rd 2008 and the promotional campaign is already turning heads. Wonderbra and controversy have previously gone hand in hand since their famous Hello Boys ads. The Dita range will be accompanied by a movie called “Science of Sexy” featuring Von Teese herself. Preview videos on the Internet are currently causing a stir showing flashes of Dita’s corset.

The European marketing director from Wonderbra, Debbie Rix, has been quoted as saying “Dita oozes glamour and understands how to make women feel sexy – she was a natural fit
for the Wonderbra brand. We’re thrilled to partner with Dita; the collection truly
does capture her essence and that of our brand”. Dita the queen of burlesque hosiery has been quoted as saying “’I am very proud of the lingerie that I’ve created for Wonderbra, because it has all the beautiful detail of sexy, sensual and glamorous lingerie, but the fit is perfect to wear under your everyday clothes.”
